April has been writing fiction since the age of 10, when she wrote and illustrated (in Crayon) her first children's book. Today she is the author of two romance novels, with several more in the works.

April's novels feature strong, sexy alpha protectors and slightly damaged characters... because no one is perfect. All of her novels are complete, stand-alone stories with happy-ever-after endings. What else would you expect from a die-hard romantic? You won't find any cliffhangers in her novels, although you will find ongoing storylines that evolve organically over the span of several novels.

In her professional life, April has enjoyed a long career in education, including teaching college English courses and developing online education for corporations and colleges. Over the years, she's done freelance work for newspapers, publishers, and magazines as a writer, editor, and desktop publisher. She has a master's degree in literature and a master's degree in education.

April lives in Ohio with her teenage daughter and more than a few dogs and cats. When she's not writing, she's reading romance novels and watching movies with happy endings.
